We would like to welcome you to the website for The Jennifer Gandel Kachura Foundation also known as Jen's Tiny Tots. We recognized that the foundation name clearly tells in whose name it was created; but was more than a mouthful and difficult to remember. Jen's Tiny Tots represents the small, fragile babies of the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. All are efforts are geared to helping these small babies go home, healthy and happy.

We are a small foundation that carefully chooses its projects. Over the years some have been refined as our experience grew. We try to fill in where the hospital budget can't, or won't because they are not medically necessary. Some of our projects are focused on bringing comfort to the baby and parents. Others are focused on child development, some provide education for nursing staff. Over the years we have bought pieces of equipment not covered by the hospital budget.

When we lost Jennifer, I vowed that my daughter would not be forgotten. The way we could do the was Jen's Tiny Tots. Every baby we help honors Jennifer's memory. Jen brought joy to our lives every day of her life, we wanted other parents of NICU babies have the same joy we did. No parent who loses a child, no matter the child's age, is ever the same again. Each of us has to find a way to survive in this new world. Having the foundation gave me a reason ( other than my husband and son) to keep on going. I have always been a baby person, so helping these fragile babies have a better life keeps me going.

Make a difference in a child's life. All monies are tax deductible. Except for covering small expenses all monies raised go directly to fund our projects.
